Well, I'm back!!!!

Having hit an all time high, 111.8 kg or 17st 8.2lb or 246.2llb, I have seriously committed to the next 'diet' i must go on.
I turned 50 in February then proceeded on a carb binge and the result is in view above!
I have new layers everywhere but particularly on my lower belly, upper thighs, back and chin! (I haven't asked anyone because I can see for myself.)
My wrists and ankles have struggled to stay slim and going by the Dukan initial self assessment procedure, are testament to the fact that I am small boned. I therefore am carrying much more 'overweight' than a visual assessment can hint. so here goes!
I have decided to split my weeks into 4 consecutive days of PP and 3 of PV. so it will be Friday to Monday PP and Tuesday to Thursday PV. I will allow for day swapping but that is my plan for convenience and planning.
Well over this summer, I have indulged in fruit smoothies.
Yesterday I started my PP with dukan diet day 1. I started craving a fruit smoothie so I thought I'd try to make a rhubarb smoothie.

Here's the result:

Dukan friendly rhubarb 'fruit' smoothie.

Step 1:
Boil up a bag (750g frozen) of Farm foods rhubarb (no sweetner). (or fresh rhubarb stalks)
Let cool overnight.
Portion up into 7 (or 8 portions to ensure you are within and under the allowed PP limit of 100g a day).
Freeze any portions that are not immediately required.

Step 2:
Put a portion of stewed rhubarb in your blender and give it a whizz until pureed.
Add 3/4 volume of  ice cubes or chips and sweetner of choice to taste.
Whizz until smooth.

Pour into glass add a couple of straws and enjoy.

Remember that  you can eat  unlimited rhubarb on the PV days from the cruise phase onwards and 100g per day on PP days.

Enjoy!

I begin in earnest today. Wish me luck.
