Here am I ...still dragging my feet.
I blamed a lack of exercise... car usage etc. Well with the promise of advancing cold, I have undertaken to drive less and walk more (...and save fuel money too in these austeer times !)
(I had forgotten about the second hand smoking that goes with walking London's streets.)
Any way, here's a Dukan friendly Juice (for those who miss juice). it is so filling, drink it and enjoy it by itself:
I medium raw beetroot
1 large raw carrot
2 stalks of raw celery
(optional - a half a finger size piece of ginger)
(Reminder- use organic where possible.)
Put all in a juice extractor.
Pour juice in a large glass and enjoy!!!! (or shot glasses if sharing and /or entertaining.)
Drink immediately or add 1/8 piece of lemon (skin and all) to keep refrigerated for no more than 6 - 8 hours.
Sweeter than any berry!!! Delicious! Nutritious!

Abi's chocolate variation on Dukan baked oatbran cookie
Rushing but had to report this!
Thanks to Vicki C. I have discovered the delight of the baked oatbran cookie. As confessed previously, I am a chocaholic!
I thought I might experiment with chocolatizing the cookie, not by adding cocoa and developing a chocolate cookie, but by adding blobs of dukan chocolate....I ended up discovering that time wise, it was easier to just have a layer of dukan chocolate on top...So here goes!
In a bowl add 6 tablespoons (90g) of oatbran, 1.5 tablespoons (5g) of splenda, 1 egg white, 1 teaspoon of mixed spice, 1 teaspoon (11g) of baking powder, 4 tablespoons or 140g of low fat vanilla yoghurt, a few squirts of flavouring (I use a combination of a squirt each of vanilla, strawberry and almond).
Place a tablespoonful on a greaseproof sheet for each cookie (I get 6 but if you do not, share it out into 6 blobs). On each blob of cookie mix, place a teaspoonful of your chocolate mix. Spread out if you feel the pile too high. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 (or there abouts) for 12 - 15 minutes.
Let cool and tuck in!
Two cookies give your oatbran for one day and your tolerated cocoa! The challenge is not to eat more than your daily allowance!
Now if you try this variation, please promise to give me feedback!
Enjoy! and see you all on Thursday for my weigh in!

Mix 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder with 7 teaspoons of skimmed milk powder, add 1 teaspoon of splenda and enough skimmed milk for a thick paste. Leave to rest...

Cruise Day 9 PV
Morning weigh in...
Hurray!!!!!!!...1.4kg or 3lbs in one PP day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Total loss 3.8kg or 8.4lbs
Wow! Wow! ...and if I may say it again...Wow!
Yesterday, I had:
Breakfast: 100 g of low-fat yoghurt mixed with 150 g of semiskimmed milk and two tablespoons (30 g) of oatbran.
Lunch: two boiled eggs.
Dinner: one tin of tuna drained out of its spring water, seasoned with quark, a bit of wasabi sauce and some paprika.
After dinner: my butternut squash pottage (a PV meal on a PP day! Sorry).
Water check: 1 L of diet ginger ale and 1 L of sparkling water on about 300 mL of ice in the course of the day.
Exercise: though I was snowed under trying to complete an assignment I took time to do 30 min on my gazelle freestyler.
Need I say more. I am happy. I weighed up the butternut squash pottage, but I didn't have time to do any cooking and I had some butternut squash pottage for today, which I decided to just warm in the microwave and eat.
Onward ever!
Wish me luck.
