The final run!!!

I have really had all I can take of this to-ing and fro-ing. I have decided that today is 9th June 2011 and this is the beginning of my race to my target goal weight of 11 stone and four pounds.

Today is officially day one of my last-ditch attempt to get rid of my final three stone. This means I promise to resist all emotional eating, I promise to resist all picking at things I should not be eating, I promise to follow my exercise regimen and to spend spend 2 to 4 hours a week planning my diet (I mean the food I plan to eat) then preparing for success in the week.

I have done this before, successfully as well! I will have success again and I will have its starting today.

After wine and crisps and milk chocolate McVities yesterday, I think I can make that final run for the finish line. On consulting the dukan site, I should be finished before the end of October. Watch this space!!!

Wish me luck.

I decided to stick to my already established to rather than go through attack today so today would be a PV day. Tomorrow I will start six days of attack in which I hope to lose five pounds at a stretch and launch my journey towards dropping a minimum of £42 in weight.

Well, here's what I ate for the record:

mid morning brunch – 220 g of chicken slices, half a pack (130 g) of Tesco crunchy salads bowl, half a pot of Be Good to Yourself red pepper humous (that bit is not dukan today but I had it in my fridge and thought I'd best get you rid of it today) 500 mL of Abi's rhubarb drink – recipe to follow.

Late lunch: equivalent of one smoked turkey drumstick (seasoned, pre-boiled then oven roasted)

Snack: 250 ml of Abi's rhubarb drink

dinner: equivalent of one smoked turkey drumstick (see lunch) and 225 g of Onken fat free Vanilla yoghurt with two tablespoons of oat bran.

For exercise, I spent 20 min on my gazelle glider and 20 min on my twist and shape stepper.
According to myfitnesspal.com that means I have burnt just under 500 cal in exercise.

It will be interesting to see how all this pans out.

I have a tip: before I go to sleep tonight I will exercise for 10 min. This is because I am hoping that my metabolic and will be increased and remain raised as I sleep, encouraging metabolism of fats.

Wish me luck yet again. Bis morgen!!!
